I found that the cable was screwed fully in to the actuator shaft. Looking at the manual it states that the cable must be screwed into the actuator shaft 5 full turns only, that was causing the jam. Decided to remove the motor/gearbox and found one of the nylon gears was stripped, luckily I had purchased a spare set.

Going back to TD5 days,you need to do the TD5 test. Find a suitable "catch can".ie any 300ml softdrink bottle and cable tie it in a position with the overflow bottle discharge in its neck. If you are catching coolant here,replace the coolant cap and pray hard.If its not the cap it can only be a head gasket. GOODLUCK.
