16-01-2012, 05:48 PM. I just noticed in the Haynes Manual, section 1B on routine diesel maintenance, they recommend various activities at intervals less than stated by Citroen. For example, draining water from the diesel fuel filter is every 12000 for the 1.6, every 5000 for the 1.8 and 1.9 and every 6000 for the 2.0.
We have four new 2012 Berlingo Vans 1.6 HDi. Two of them have been towed to the garage this month after the engine management light came on and the engine was in limp mode.
